Srinagar, Sept 09: A man lost his life after being run over by a train at Panjgam railway section in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday morning.
Reports said the incident involved train number 75652, which was on its way from Baramulla to Sangaldan. The deceased has been identified as Riyaz Ahmad, a resident of Kawoosa, Budgam.
Water Crisis Deepens in Srinagar, Residents Slam ‘Empty Promises’
Railway police and other officials reached the spot soon after the accident.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
