A man who was critically injured in a hit-and-run case near TRC on Friday succumbed to his injuries at SMHS hospital today.

Reports reaching Asian News Hub (ANH) said that a man identified as Mohammad Altaf Sheikh, resident of Barbarshah was critically injured after the motorbike he was riding was hit by unknown vehicle near TRC on Friday.
They said after the incident he was rushed to SMHS hospital for treatment. However, he succumbed to his injuries at the hospital today.
Police have registered a case in this regard and the body will be handed over to family after medico-legal formalities, they said.
Sources said that the deceased is an employee of Tourism department and was posted at Lala Rukh Hotel Srinagar.
