(Asian News Hub) A middle-aged man died after falling from a walnut tree in south-Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday afternoon.

Reports reaching GNS said that a 45-year-old man identified as Ghulam Mohammad Wani resident of Chokura fell from the walnut tree and was immediately evacuated to a nearby hospital. However upon assessment, the doctors declared the person as brought dead on arrival.

A police official confirming the incident to GNS said that the body has been handed over the family for last rites.
