Srinagar, Aug 29: A man died after receiving an electric shock in Sarai Dangerpora area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district this afternoon.
Reports reaching Asian News Hub said that a man identified as Ghulam Mohammad Kawa, son of Abdul Rehman Kawa, a resident of Sarai Dangerpora received an electric shock at his residence.
They said he was rushed to nearby hospital for treatment, where he was referred to SKIMS Bemina for advanced treatment, however, doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.
Meanwhile police have taken cognizance of the incident.
