Srinagar, Dec 12: A man died after a water tank falls on him in Nowgam area of Srinagar this evening.
Reports said that a laborer, identified as Mohd Jamal Mir, son of Ab Samad from Nichama Handwara, sustained critical injuries when a 1000-litre water tank fell from a height onto him in Sathoo Nowgam.
They said he was immediately shifted to UJALA Hospital in Nowgam, where doctors declared him dead upon arrival. The body was later shifted to SMHS Hospital for further formalities.

Local police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
