A 25-year-old man died after he fell in a water dam in Imamsahab area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Tuesday.
Identified as Nasir Ahmad Dar son of Bashir Ahmad Dar resident of Dohbipor, fell into the water dam in Kadgam Imamsahab.
Soon after the incident he was rescued and was taken to district Hospital Shopian where he was declared dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident. KS
