Kulgam, Dec 1: A 65-year-old man was killed after being hit by a vehicle in the Nipora area of Qazigund in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Monday, officials said.
An official said that the accident occurred when the man was hit on Jammu- Srinagar National Highway.
He sustained critical injuries and was shifted to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries,” he said.

The deceased has been identified as Abdul Ahad Khanday (65), son of Abdul Khaliq Khanday of Nipora, Qazigund. Police have taken cognisance of the incident. (KNO)
