Srinagar, Aug 25: Srinagar Police on Thursday said to have arrested an extortionist who was using fake pistol for intimidation.

Srinagar police said that one extortionist identified as Umer Qadir Dar son of late Gh Qadir Dar resident Harnambal Zaffar colony Natipora arrested, he was using fake pistol for intimidation.
They said that two mobile phones, one laptop also recovered from his possession, in this regard, case under FIR No. 66/2022 registered at Police station Kothibagh.
“One extortionist namely Umer Qadir Dar S/o late Gh Qadir Dar R/o Harnambal Zaffar colony Natipora, he was using fake pistol for intimidation. 02 mobile phones,01 laptop also recovered from his possession. On this, case under FIR No. 66/2022 registered at kothibagh PS,” Srinagar police tweeted.
