Jammu and Kashmir Police on Sunday said to have arrested longest surviving militant of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen (HM) oufit in South Kashmir’s Shopian district.

They said that the militant was active since 2017 and has been identified as Nasir Ahmed Sher Gojri @ Qasim Bhai S/o Ali Mohd resident of HomHuna Nagbal.
Kashmir Zone Police in a tweet said, “Shopian Police & Army arrested one of the longest surviving HM terrorist active since 2017 namely Nasir Ahmed Sher Gojri @ Qasim Bhai S/o Ali Mohd R/o HomHuna Nagbal, involved in various criminal cases. Case registered & investigation set in motion to unearth the terror network.”
