A labourer died after being injured in a machine accident at a copper factory in Srinagar on Tuesday, officials said.
The labourer was hit by a machine belt while working at Copper Factory in SIDCO Khonmoh. He was immediately taken to hospital for treatment but later died due to his injuries.
The deceased has been identified as Tariq Ahmad Ahanger, son of Ghulam Rasool, a resident of Watakuloo Chrar-i-sharief.

Police have taken note of the incident and started an investigation to find out how the accident happened. (KNT)
