Srinagar, Aug 12: A labourer who was critically injured after falling from a tree at Hayat Pora in Chadoora area of Budgam district has succumbed to his injuries at SMHS Hospital Srinagar.
The deceased has been identified as Liyaqat Ahmad Khatana (45), son of Gulam Nabi, a resident of Rajouri and presently living in Hayat Pora, Chadoora.
He was initially rushed to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Chadoora and later referred to SMHS Hospital for advanced treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Police have taken cognisance of the incident.
