SRINAGAR, March 26 : Residents of several villages of south kashmir’s Kulgam district at high risk amid #Coronavirus, as they allege many truck drivers have comeback home from outside states without any apparent screening.

While talking to Asiannewshub, One of the resident told that, we have some 100 to 200 truck drivers living in the vicinity who go outside kashmir valley for various purposes and are now coming back to our town without any apparent screening anywhere and this poses a high risk to entire area ( Khudwani, Quimoh, Wanpora, Shamsipora, Frisal, Redwani, Buchroo, Mutalhama, kujjar, Bachroo) and since the area has very high population, we fear any untoward might happen in the course of existent circusmstances around.

He added,There are already rumours with respect to some persons having possible symptoms of covid-19 ( for which we only pray to be false) and thereby request the concerned authorities particularly SHO Khudwani/Quimoh to take cognizance of the same. The situation is very serious and it requires priority preference otherwise it might turn ugly.
