The surgery students of Government Medical College Srinagar have been awarded top positions at 82nd Annual Conference of the Association of Surgeons of India (ASICON) 2022 in Mumbai, KDC reported.

“Our post graduate scholars have created history by winning so many awards at ASICON Mumbai,” a professor at GMC Srinagar told news agency Kashmir Dot Com.

Dr Safoora Wani and Prof Iqbal Saleem have won 1st prize in Free Paper Category while Dr Neha Sharma and Prof Iqbal Saleem won 3rd Prize in Free Paper presentation.

Dr Safoora Wani and Dr Mushtaq A Mir won 2nd Prize in e- Poster category.

Dr Yaser Hussain Wani and Dr Ab Wahid of the CVTS won 3rd Prize in Dr C Palanivelu Best Video Category.

The Association of Surgeons of India (ASI), Vama Events Pvt. Ltd. held this conference from Dec 21 – 24, 2022 at Mumbai University Ground, Mumbai.(KDC)
