Srinagar, Oct 11: The officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Police Service (JKPS) have expressed their deepest gratitude to the Honourable Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, the Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary of the Home Department, and the Director General of Police for their visionary leadership in restructuring the JKPS cadre. The long-awaited restructuring, which had been pending for seven years, has finally been notified, marking a significant milestone for the JKPS officers.

In a statement, the officers highlighted that this progressive step not only recognizes their services but also honors the tireless efforts of the entire police force, which has been at the forefront of countering Pakistan-sponsored terrorism and maintaining peace in the region. The officers emphasized that the trust and recognition placed in them will serve as a strong motivator, inspiring them to continue serving with even greater commitment.
