‘International flight operation to begin soon at Sgr airport’
(Asian News Hub) – Secretary, Tourism & Culture, Sarmad Hafeez Thursday said that Jammu and Kashmir will soon be an affordable destination in the country.
Talking to the selected group of reporters, Sarmad Hafeez as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that several steps have been taken by the central as well as the Union Territory government with regard to the complaints made earlier about hike in air fare.

He added that this year, the air fare is under control. “With all these measures and related initiatives, Jammu and Kashmir will soon be the affordable destination in the country,” he said.
About the upcoming arrival of international flights, Hafeez said that it is a wonderful beginning and “You would soon see more and more flights in Kashmir and also international tourists in the Valley as well.”

He also said that Kashmir has been known for its hospitality and “we are always here to welcome the tourists.”
Asked about communication issues at some tourist places, the Secretary Tourism said that the places have been identified and all these issues will be resolved in a shortest possible time.
