Srinagar, May 18: Baramulla MP Engineer Rashid was granted bail on Monday to attend the last rites of his father, Haji Khazir Mohammad, who died after a brief illness at AIIMS Delhi.

Family members said that Rashid has been allowed to participate in the funeral following his father’s death in New Delhi. Rashid has been granted bail till June 02.
Notably, Rashid was earlier granted interim bail on April 28 to meet his ailing father. After spending a few days with his family, he returned to Tihar Jail on May 6.
