Trump Praises India and Pakistan for Historic Peace Efforts

Washington, May 11: U.S. President Donald J. Trump commended the leadership of India and Pakistan for what he described as a “strong and unwaveringly powerful” decision to halt rising aggression and potential conflict in the region.

In a statement shared on Truth social, Trump lauded the wisdom and fortitude of both nations in preventing further violence and loss of innocent lives.

“Millions of good and innocent people could have died,” Trump stated, acknowledging the grave consequences that were avoided through what he termed a “historic and heroic decision.”

Expressing pride in the United States’ role in supporting the de-escalation, Trump also revealed intentions to substantially increase trade with both countries. He further pledged to work with India and Pakistan toward finding a lasting solution to the Kashmir conflict, suggesting that an agreement could finally be reached after what he referred to as “a thousand years.”

“God Bless the leadership of India and Pakistan on a job well done!” Trump concluded.
