Srinagar, May 08: Military installations at Jammu, Pathankot, and Udhampur came under threat today as Pakistani-origin drones and missiles targeted the sites along the International Border in Jammu and Kashmir.

According to the Ministry of Defence, the threats were swiftly neutralised using both kinetic and non-kinetic measures, strictly adhering to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The defence operations ensured there were no casualties or material losses.

In an official statement on X, the Ministry affirmed, “India remains fully prepared to defend its sovereignty and ensure the safety of its people.”

Security forces remain on high alert, and surveillance has been intensified across sensitive zones in the region.
