Srinagar, May 15: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha praised the Indian Armed Forces for their bravery and strategic strength in successfully carrying out Operation Sindoor. He said the operation was a historic response to the Pahalgam terror attack and a strong message to the enemies of peace.

“Our country is proud of the Armed Forces for their brave action in Operation Sindoor, which not only took revenge for the Pahalgam terror attack but also destroyed terror bases in Pakistan and killed top terrorists,” said LG Sinha.

He added that Operation Sindoor has brought a major change in the fight against terrorism. In a focused and well-planned attack, 9 big terror camps were destroyed, 11 Pakistani air bases were hit, and many top terrorists were eliminated.

“The operation has changed our military policy. Now terrorists are being hunted down one by one. In just one week, six terrorists were neutralised in South Kashmir during a joint operation with the Indian Army,” LG Sinha said.

He strongly stated that terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir is being planned and carried out by Pakistan, and our forces are now entering deeper into Pakistan to stop it. “From now on, any act of terror will be treated as an act of war,” he added.

Calling Pakistan a terrorist country, the Lieutenant Governor said, “We now see no difference between Pakistan and the masterminds of terrorism hiding there. Our brave soldiers’ courage in Operation Sindoor has become a proud part of our military history.”

He assured that the armed forces will continue to act strongly to keep Indian citizens safe and to protect the peace and prosperity of the country.

LG Sinha also referred to the statement made by Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh, who visited Srinagar’s Badami Bagh Cantt and Air Base. The Defence Minister said that Pakistan’s nuclear blackmail will not work anymore, and its nuclear weapons should be brought under international supervision by the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency). He also warned that Pakistan will face serious consequences if it continues to support terrorism.
