Srinagar, Dec 12: A residential house was damaged in a fire incident in the Lalbazar area of Srinagar this evening.
Reports said that the fire broke out on the third floor of the residential house belonging to Syed Basharat Hussain in Wani Mohalla, Ahmadkadal area of Lalbazar.
Firefighters were quickly deployed to the scene and managed to douse the flames in time, preventing further damage.

The cause of the fire is not immediately known.
Meanwhile, the police have taken cognizance of the incident.
