Anantnag, May 31: Officials on Sunday said that a man is feared to have drowned in the Lidder River after reportedly saving his two sons from drowning near the Langanbal area of Pahalgam in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

Reports stated that all three had fallen into the river under circumstances that are being ascertained.
Rescue teams, with the assistance of locals, launched an operation immediately after the incident and successfully rescued both boys from the river.
However, the father could not be traced and remained missing till the filing of this report, officials said.
