(Asian News Hub) – An encounter broke out between militants and joint team of Security forces in Orchards of Imam sahib in south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
Reports reaching Asian News Hub said that a joint team of Police, Army and CRPF launched a cordon-and-search operation (CASO) about the presence of militants in the orchards of Nadigam area of Imam sahib in district Shopian.
They said as the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, militants fired upon them which was retaliated triggering an encounter.

As per sources two to three militants are believed to be trapped.
