Pulwama, March 11 (ANH): An encounter broke out between militants and joint team of Security forces in Chewakalan area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday evening.
Reports said that joint team of Security forces launched a Cordon-and-Search Operation (CASO) in Chewakalan, Zadoora area of Pulwama after receiving inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
As the Security forces approached the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them, triggering an encounter, reports said.
Meanwhile encounter is underway and as per sources two militants are believed to be trapped.
