An encounter has broke out between militants and government forces in Wathoo area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Wednesday evening, police said.

Kashmir Zone Police in a tweet said, “#Encounter has started at Watho area of #Shopian. Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow.”
