Shopian, July 16: Eight people were injured in a road accident near Padpawan area on the Mughal Road in South Kashmir Shopian district on Wednesday evening.
Reports said that a Tempo Traveller carrying passengers lost control, skipped off the road, and turned turtle, and resulting in injuries to eight persons.
All the injured were immediately shifted to District Hospital Shopian, where they are currently undergoing treatment.

The exact cause of the accident is not yet known, but police have started an investigation into the matter.
