A sumo vehicle driver who sustained critical injuries in a fatal road mishap last week has succumbed at a tertiary hospital at Srinagar.

Aijaz Ahmad Tanch, as per an official had multiple injuries and was under intense care at SKIMS Soura since his admission. “Despite given all possible treatment the individual couldn’t be saved”, the official said.
Pertinent to mention here that Aijaz Ahmad was among five persons who were injured after a vehicle rammed into a Deodar tree at Rantisinard Gagal area in Kupwara district. (GNS)
