Srinagar, March 02 (ANH): A court in Kashmir has awarded six months imprisonment and fined a driver for killing a Srinagar resident in 2013.

Principal Sessions Judge Pulwama Abdul Rashid Malik upheld the conviction of Sanjay Kumar of Udhampur for driving a tanker rashly and negligently and causing the death of Shabir Ahmad Ahangar on the Srinagar- Anantnag highway, UNI reported.

The judge dismissed a criminal appeal filed by Kumar on October 31, 2018.
