Srinagar, Dec 17: A truck driver was killed, while another person was injured after a tree falls on truck due to a nearby forest fire in Nachlana area of district Ramban.
Quoting an official news agency JKNS reported that a truck driver was killed after a tree fell due to a nearby forest fire, striking the truck passing through the area.
He said the incident occurred at Nachlana in Banihal, and the victim has been identified as Muzamil Gull, son of Gull Mohammad Sheikh, a resident of Hiller Kokernag, Anantnag.

Meanwhile, another person traveling with him was injured in the mishap and is currently being treated, while his identification is being ascertained.
Moreover, police have taken cognizance of the matter.
