Srinagar, Aug 23:  Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Syed Sehrish Asgar today presented ‘LaQshya’ award to sub-district hospital Pattan.

The hospital has been awarded quality certification under LAQSHYA program of the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare which aims at improving quality of care in labour room and maternity Operation Theatre (OT).

CMO Baramulla Dr Bashir Ahmad Malik thanked Administrative Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department Bhupender Kumar, Mission Director NHM Choudary Yasin, Director Health Services Kashmir Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Rather for their support and guidance due to which the hospital was able to get the award.

The CMO thanked DC Baramulla for presenting the award at the hospital. The CMO also hailed role of played by the employees of SDH Pattan and the Block Medical Officer Dr Mastoora Akhtar and her team.

Administrative Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department Bhupender Kumar has also congratulated SDH Pattan, CMO Baramulla and BMO Pattan for receiving the award during his address at a training program at Regional Institute of Health and Family Welfare, Dhobivan.

Director Health Services Kashmir Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Rather has also congratulated CMO Baramulla, BMO Pattan and staff of SDH Pattan for this achievement.
