COVID19: Kashmir reports 09 new deaths, JK toll 361

Srinagar, July 30 (ANH): Nine more persons who had tested positive for COVID19 died in Kashmir division, taking the toll of deaths related to COVID9 in UT’s of Jammu and Kashmir to 361.

Official told Asiannewshub, that nine patients who died due to virus include 52-year-old lady from Asahajipora village of Anantnag, 75-year-old woman from Shivpora Srinagar, 72-year-old man from Batamallo Srinagar, 55-year-old CRPF tropper of 198 BN, 66-year-old woman from Keegam Shopian, 55-year-old man from Humhama Budgam, 70-year old woman from Delina Baramulla, 75-year-old male from Kreeri Baramulla and 75-year-old man from Maldera village of Shopian.

An official from SKIMS told Asiannewshub, that a lady from Asahjipora Anantnag, was admitted on 29 July with multiple ailments died, she tested positive for COVID19 posthumously.

He added that a lady from Shivpora Srinagar who was admitted on 26 July with multiple ailments died on Thursday wee hours.

He further added that a patient from Batamallo who was admitted on 21 July with HTN and bilateral pneumonia died in the intervening night of Wednesday-Thursday.

Regarding a CRPF man, he said that he was admitted on 27 July died on Thursday morning.

An official from CD hospital Srinagar said that a woman from Keegam Shopian who was admitted on 26 July died on Thursday morning.

He further added that a patient from Humhama Budgam who was admitted on 22 July also died on Thursday morning.

An official from GMC Baramulla told Asiannewshub, said that a woman from Delina Baramulla was admitted on 26 July with bilateral pneumonia and hypertension died on Wednesday.

He added that a patient from Kreeri Baramulla who was diagnosed with bilateral pneumonia and tested positive for COVID19 on 27 July, died on Wednesday evening.

An official at DH Pulwama said that a man from Maldera Shopian, was admitted few days before with chest infection died on Thursday morning.

With nine more deaths, the death toll has climbed to 361 in Uat’s of Jammu and Kashmir, including 336 from Kashmir division and 25 from Jammu division. (ANH)
