COVID19 claims two more lives in Srinagar, J-K toll 269

Srinagar, July 22 : The death toll due to the novel Coronavirus has mounted to 269 in Jammu and Kashmir as two more patients died due to the virus on Wednesday in Srinagar.

Officials told Asiannewshub that two patients who died due to virus include a 58-year-old from Rajbagh and 45-year-old from Zoonimar area of Srinagar district.

He said that patient from Zoonimar who had tested positive for COVID19 was brought to CD Hospital for admission in unconcious condition, was declared dead by doctors on arrival.

An official from SKIMS told Asiannewshub, that a man from Rajbagh who was admitted on 16 July with bilateral pneumonia died at SKIMS during intervening night of Tuesday-Wednesday.

With 02 fresh deaths on Wednesday morning, the death toll due to COVID19 in J&K has reached to 269 including 249 from Kashmir division and 20 from Jammu division.
