COVID19: 49 CRPF troopers among 450 test positive, JK tally nears 20,000

Srinagar, July 30 (ANH): 49 CRPF troopers among 450 new cases of COVID19 identified in UT’s of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, including 83 from Jammu division and 367 from Kashmir division, thus taking total number of confirmed cases in UT’s to 19 869.

Moreover, 520 more COVID19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals, 189 from Jammu Division and 331 from Kashmir Division.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on COVID19, out of 19, 869 positive cases, 7,662 are active Positive, 11,842 have recovered so far.

The Bulletin further said that out of 6,27,387 test results available, 6,07,518 samples have been tested as negative till date.

Additionally, till date 3,66,937 travelers and persons in contact with suspected cases have been enlisted for observation which included 47,281 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 06 in Hospital Quarantine, 7,662 in hospital isolation and 40,583 under home surveillance.

Besides, 2,71,040 persons have completed their surveillance period. (ANH)
