An Armed wing policeman ended his life by shooting himself dead with his service rifle in Rajbagh area of Srinagar on Sunday evening.

An official told Asian News Hub that the selection grade constable of IRP 10th Battallion took the extreme step at a hotel in Rajbagh this evening.
He was immediately shifted to SMHS hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
The reason behind taking such a step couldn’t be immediately confirmed, and investigation has been launched, he added.
Sources said that cop was in depression and was consulting Psychiatrist.
