Chakka jam in J&K : Kashmir transporters hold Protest at Srinagar

Srinagar, June 12 : Scores of transporters associated with All J&K transporters welfare association hold a protest demonstration here at pratap park Srinagar.

While talking to Asiannewshub,Shabir ahmad Chairman of the welfare association said that we are protesting here against toll tax,online and GPS system being implemented on us,we are suffering and the government administration is forcing us to get unemployed by implementing these kind of systems and taxes.

We appeal honourable Governor Shri Satya Pal Malik to intervene in the matter and revoke toll taxes and online,gps system.

If government administration fails to revoke it within five days,we are planning to meet jammu and Ladakh transporters,then we will go for indefinite strike across Jammu,Kashmir and ladakh,he added.

“The drivers from various sections of society including Auto drivers, Sumo drivers, Mini Bus Service drivers and KMD drivers also participated in the protest”.
