Srinagar, Jan 07: Central Kashmir Range Police and District Police Srinagar
on Saturday evening organised an impressive function here to bid farewell to outgoing Deputy Commissioner(DC) Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad on his transfer, promotion as Administrative Secretary, Planning & Monitoring Department and Civil Aviation.

DIG Central Kashmir Range, Sujit Kumar IPS led the farewell ceremony. SSP Srinagar, Ashish Mishra, SP East Shri Ram, SP Gaurav Skawar, SP North Zuhaib Tanveer, SP PC Iftikhir Talib, SP Hazratbat Mashkoor Ahmad,
SSO Sajad khaliq Bhat S.O to DIG and other senior officers of the District Police Srinagar were present on the occasion.

While extending their best wishes to the outgoing DC, the officers present in the function lauded the working style and leadership qualities of the outgoing Deputy Commissioner and extended their best wishes for his new assignment.

DIG Sujit Kumar recalled the Team Spirit of Administration in Srinagar and historic achievements during the tenure of outgoing DC Mohammad Aijaz Asad which resulted in greater common good in Service of the people.

The DC thanked the officers for organising a cordial farewell and also appreciated the officers for putting in their best efforts in carrying out the official duties and assignments and also for their active support and cooperation during his tenure. The DC also thanked LG J&K Manoj Sinha for providing him the opportunity to serve the people of Srinagar.
