In a shocking incident, the body of a 35-year-old man was found lying in the Goushbugh area of Pattan district Baramulla on Friday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Javid Ahmad Mir, son of Gh Mohammad Mir, a resident of Khamooh Rafiabad. Mir was a carpenter by profession.
Upon receiving the information, a police party rushed to the spot and took custody of the body.

Officials said further details are awaited, while the cause of death is yet to be ascertained.
