Srinagar, Mar 28: Body of a minor girl lifted by a leopard in Harwani village of Budgam district, has been found in a nearby orchard, an official said.
Quoting an official news agency Kashmir Scroll reported that a rescue operation was launched after a leopard struck in human habitation this evening.
“After strenuous efforts by the Police and locals, the corpse of the minor girl was found lying in a nearby orchard,” they reported.

“The body recovered has been miamed by the wild animal,” they added.
Meanwhile, the whole area has plunged into melancholy in the aftermath of the tragic incident.
