Srinagar, Dec 9: A woman’s body was recovered from Pazalpora area of Bijbehara in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday, officials said.
Officials said that locals spotted the body and immediately informed police, following which a team reached the spot and took custody of the deceased.
The woman was subsequently shifted to a nearby hospital for medico-legal procedures, they added.

Police have taken cognizance of the matter, and further investigation to ascertain identity and the cause of death is underway. (KNC)
