(Asian News Hub) – The body of a 27-year-old non-local resident was on Thursday recovered from river Jhelum in Gasi Mohalla area of Safa Kadal in Srinagar.
Official sources told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a 27-year-old youth from West Bengal, was found floating in Jhelum river by locals at Gasi Mohalla area of Safakadal Srinagar on Thursday afternoon.

The body was fished out and later handed to local police for legal medico formalities, they said, adding that the boy had jumped into river Jhelum near Zero bridge, Srinagar on November 07 at around 04 pm.
Meanwhile, a case under section 309 has been registered at Police Station Kothi Bagh and further investigations are on—(KNO)
