Srinagar, July 05: The body of a youth who had drowned in river Jhelum while taking a bath in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Thursday has been retrieved this morning.
News agency Kashmir Scroll said that a youth drowned into the river Jhelum near Jamia at Hajin Bandipora on Thursday
They said that Nadeem Zahoor, son of Zahoor Ahmad, a resident of Mir Mohalla Hajin drowned in river Jhelum while taking a bath.
A rescue operation was started soon after the incident and his body has been retrieved today, they said.
Police have taken cognizance and started an investigation.
