Srinagar, July 30: In a tragic incident, a 50-year-old woman named Zareefa Begum, wife of Farooq Ahmad Khan, was mauled to death by a bear in Mirpora, a village in Qalamabad, Handwara.
The attack occurred in a nearby garden in Mirpora, Qalamabad.
Zareefa Begum was reportedly tending to her garden when the bear attacked. Despite efforts to save her, she succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
