Bijbehara, June 22: A 10-year-old girl died after sustaining a severe neck injury while playing on the roof of her house in the Gadiseer area of Bijbehara in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday.

According to officials, the minor sustained a critical neck injury while playing on the rooftop of her residence. Family members immediately rushed her to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Bijbehara for treatment.
However, despite efforts by doctors, the girl succumbed to her injuries, officials said.

The deceased has been identified as Tafheeda Khursheed, daughter of Khursheed Ahmad Dar, a resident of Gadiseer, Bijbehara.
Police have taken cognizance of the matter and initiated the necessary proceedings. (KNT)
