Baramulla, June 07: A man died after the vehicle he was traveling in plunged into a stream near Chandoosa in Baramulla district on Sunday.

Reports says that the deceased has been identified as Ishfaq Ahmad Mir, son of Bashir Ahmad Mir, a resident of Qazi Hamam, Baramulla.
The accident occurred while he was travelling from Gulmarg towards Baramulla. The vehicle reportedly skidded off the road and fell into a nearby stream near Chandoosa.
Locals and rescue teams rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to a nearby medical facility. However, Ishfaq Ahmad Mir succumbed to his injuries.
