COVID-19 | JK reports 122 new positive cases, 1,18,422 recovered so far

Srinagar, Jan 09: The Government on Saturday informed that 122 new positive cases of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), 64 from Jammu division and 58 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 122425. Also 02 COVID-19 deaths have been reported from Jammu Division.

Moreover, 267 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 116 from Jammu Division and 151 from Kashmir Division.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Coronavirus (Covid-19), out of 1,22,425 positive cases, 2094 are Active Positive, 1,18,422 have recovered and 1909 have died; 711 in Jammu division and 1,198 in Kashmir division.

The Bulletin further said that out of 40,59,790 test results available, 3,93,7365 samples have been tested as negative till 09 January, 2021.

Till date 9,44,038 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 25,091 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 2,094 in isolation and 32,602 in home surveillance. Besides, 8,82,342 persons have completed their surveillance period.
