New Delhi, May 15: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has set the date for the NEET UG 2026 re-exam after cancelling the earlier test amid allegations of a paper leak.
According to an official notification issued with the approval of the Government of India, the NEET (UG) 2026 re-examination will now be held on Sunday, June 21, 2026.

The NTA has also urged students and parents to rely only on its official communication channels for updates related to the examination.
“Candidates and parents are requested to rely only on the official channels of NTA,” the agency said in its statement.
The announcement comes amid nationwide anxiety among medical aspirants after the cancellation of the NEET UG 2026 exam conducted earlier this month. The controversy erupted after allegations surfaced that parts of the question paper had been leaked before the examination.
The cancellation affected nearly 24 lakh students across the country and sparked protests, criticism and demands for accountability over repeated examination-related controversies.
The government has already handed over the investigation into the alleged paper leak to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), while multiple agencies are probing the matter.
