The customer claimed that he immediately informed the restaurant owner about the matter, but instead of addressing the complaint seriously, the owner allegedly reacted harshly and told him not to visit the restaurant again.

“I was told not to come to the restaurant again and was still asked to pay the full bill despite finding a cockroach in the chicken biryani,” the complainant alleged.

He further stated that he possesses photo and video evidence related to the incident, which he has already shared. The complainant also said that an official complaint has been filed on the FSSAI portal under Complaint Ticket Number 924259525.

The incident has sparked concern among residents and food lovers in Srinagar, with many questioning hygiene standards and customer grievance handling at restaurants in the city.
