Baramulla, May 6: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday hinted at delivering a strong political message after Eid, saying he was holding himself back as the occasion did not permit a political address.
Speaking at a function in Tangmarg, Omar said the academic setting was not appropriate for political remarks.

“Trust me, I want to burst like a cloudburst,” he said, adding that he would speak openly at a public gathering after Eid.
The Chief Minister also spoke about youth, education and employment, saying students are central to Jammu and Kashmir’s future.
He said the government is working to improve higher education opportunities within the region and has already passed a Private University Bill to encourage the establishment of private universities in Jammu and Kashmir.
Omar acknowledged that government jobs alone cannot solve unemployment but said the administration has set a target of providing 20,000 to 25,000 government jobs this year.
He also highlighted self-employment initiatives like Mission Yuva and ongoing skill development programmes aimed at supporting entrepreneurship and improving employability among youth.
