The Chief Minister said the coming six months are the most productive period of the year due to favourable weather conditions, and stressed the need for the timely execution of development works.
“Now it is our responsibility to deliver. Whether departments are under my charge or that of my colleagues, results will only come if we work together,” he said.
He called for close coordination between elected representatives and the administration, saying that collective effort is essential to meet public expectations.
Highlighting priorities, the Chief Minister said the Darbar period coincides with major events, including the annual Amarnath Yatra and peak tourism season, both of which require coordinated planning and effective management.
“This is not just a working season; it will define our governance outcomes. We must ensure that all arrangements are in place,” he said.
Referring to the Budget session, he said the government now has a clear roadmap and stressed efficient use of resources and timely completion of projects.
“If we work with focus and coordination, we can achieve better results in the coming months,” he added.
Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo briefed the meeting on administrative preparedness, including arrangements for employees, essential services and departmental coordination.
He said most officers would remain stationed in Srinagar, while a roster system would ensure availability in Jammu when required.
He also stressed preparedness for flood management ahead of the monsoon and called for special attention in landslide-prone areas.
The Chief Secretary said departments must ensure restoration of services, including electricity and water supply, across both regions.
He also highlighted key priorities such as implementation of Budget announcements, digitisation of land records and preparations for the upcoming Census, with self-enumeration scheduled from May 17.
He urged departments to ensure the timely execution of decisions taken by the Council of Ministers and to flag any requirements in advance.
