New Delhi, Apr 24: Delhi court rejected Baramulla MP Engineer Rashid’s interim bail plea to visit his critically ill father, a party leader said on Friday.

Sheikh Ashiq, a senior leader of the Awami Ittehad Party (AIP), confirmed that the court turned down the plea filed by Er. Rashid earlier this week.
The MP had stated in his application that his father was on ventilator support and undergoing treatment in a critical condition, and requested release on humanitarian grounds. (KNS)
