A lineman of the Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) was electrocuted while on duty in the Magam Sub-Division of Beerwah on Saturday.
Officials said the injured lineman has been identified as Bashir Ahmad Dar, who received an electric shock while working on a double-circuit high-tension (HT) line.

He was immediately rushed to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar, where his condition is reported to be critical.
